This is provided for by the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures to perpetuate the memory of the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Botir Zokirov, to study his creative legacy in depth and promote it globally”, of July 28 of this year.

According to the document, a State Scholarship named after Botir Zokirov will also be established.

Starting in 2026, the Botir Zokirov International Competition in Pop Singing will be held once every two years.

In addition, a feature film dedicated to the life and work of Botir Zokirov will be produced.
