Pharmaceutical industry laboratories play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines and driving innovative development.

In recent years, Uzbekistan has taken significant steps to develop the pharmaceutical industry, enhance its scientific research potential, and expand international cooperation. 

Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, met with representatives of the Swiss company Tecan. 

At the meeting, representatives from Tecan and the Zalma branch for Central Asia discussed the equipping of an R&D laboratory, the laboratory concept, and which specific laboratories should be included in the concept. 

According to the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Agency, the company representatives conducted a presentation of their equipment and products for R&D laboratories. The parties agreed to engage specialists in future meetings and continue cooperation through videoconferencing.
