To widely celebrate the 690th anniversary of the birth of our great ancestor, Amir Temur, a corresponding resolution of the President has been adopted. The document provides for the organization and high-level conduct of large-scale educational and scientific events throughout the country. This date is regarded not only as a historical anniversary, but also as an essential process of recognizing national identity and studying a rich spiritual heritage.

April has been declared the “Month of Amir Temur”. Meetings, roundtables, and discussions involving scholars of Timurid studies, writers, and cultural figures are planned at educational institutions, research centers, and mahallas.

Within the framework of the resolution, a roadmap through 2030 has been approved to support the systematic study of Timurid-era history and the broader dissemination of research findings.

In particular, on April 9-10, the Center of Islamic Civilization will host an international scientific conference titled “The Role and Significance of Amir Temur and the Timurid Civilization in World History and Culture”. The participation of scholars from various countries will enable discussion of new research results and expand academic cooperation.

“The Code of Temur” will be published with scholarly commentaries in Persian, Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Spanish, and Russian. This will allow the essence of this fundamental work to be more fully presented to the global community. In addition, illustrated volumes entitled “100 Unique Manuscripts of the Timurid Era” and “100 Unique Artistic Gems of the Timurid Era” will be prepared.

An important initiative will be the creation of an electronic platform bringing together sources from this period. Manuscripts, historical documents, and academic articles in digital format will become accessible to a wide range of users.

To prepare for the events at a high level, the composition of the organizing committee has been approved and tasked with coordinating all planned celebrations and ensuring their substance and significance.
