Youth parliaments of Uzbekistan and Belarus sign a roadmap

A joint meeting of the Youth Parliament under the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Youth Council under the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus was held.

The meeting, titled “Equal opportunities as the foundation of sustainable development: inclusive education, joint initiatives and youth cooperation”, was held as part of the Uzbekistan – Belarus Interparliamentary Forum.

The participants discussed expanding youth participation in public and state governance, developing inclusive education, creating equal opportunities for young people, and strengthening cooperation among the youth parliamentary bodies of the two countries.

Presentations covered ways to improve young people’s legal literacy, strengthen cooperation with youth structures within local self-government bodies, and ensure that all young people can participate equally in cultural, sports, and creative activities.

Following the meeting, a roadmap was signed.
