Senators exchange views with members of foreign parliaments
At the 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Samarkand, Senate members interacted with various parliamentary delegations.
A discussion took place with parliamentary delegations led by Alicia Kearns, a member of the UK House of Commons International Development Committee, Dan Carden, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, James O'Connor, Chair of the Irish Parliament's Committee on Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, and Alexander Trembitsky, Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting with British Parliament members, the discussion focused on advancing complex relations and enhancing inter-parliamentary collaboration.

At the meeting with Irish Parliament members, the discussion centered on fostering inter-parliamentary cooperation, advancing information technology, agriculture, and education, attracting new technologies, and developing joint projects as part of the partnership with the European Union.

During the meeting with members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, the participants discussed strengthening inter-parliamentary relations.
It was highlighted that Uzbekistan and Russia's cooperation is advancing as a comprehensive strategic partnership, driven by the political will and trust between their leaders.
