New Academic Year: Student-Athletes Welcomed
With the start of the new academic year at the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Culture and Sports, the process of accommodating students from remote regions in dormitories is actively underway.
It should be noted that the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Culture and Sports currently operates three student dormitories, with a capacity to accommodate approximately 2,300 students.
Students who have submitted online applications for a place in the existing university dormitories are being housed in stages, in accordance with established procedures.
University officials are welcoming the students and handling the necessary organizational processes for their placement in the dormitories.
The university leadership is in direct conversation with students and their parents, listening to their appeals and suggestions. Any emerging issues are being promptly resolved on the spot.
"Thanks to the special attention given to sports education in our country and the implementation of digital technologies in the admissions process, the work of accepting worthy candidates as students has been carried out effectively. This year, hundreds of champions and young people who have achieved high results in international competitions were admitted. During the new academic year, our main task is to create favorable conditions for students and ensure a suitable environment in the university's dormitories and training halls for their education and successful participation in training sessions and competitions," says University Rector Rashid Matkarimov.
