Namangan hosts 5th International Honey Festival
The 5th International Honey Festival, held at the Valley of Legends theme park in Namangan’s Davlatabad district, is drawing thousands of tourists.
The event brings together more than 200 local and international beekeepers, entrepreneurs and industry specialists from across Uzbekistan, as well as Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Russia. Unlike previous events, this year’s exhibition features 35 tons of honey and other bee products, giving visitors and industry professionals the chance to explore and sample different varieties of natural honey and buy products directly from producers.

Among the festival’s international guests is Ferahi Oguzkhan, Founder and CEO of the Azerbaijani company “I’m Honey”. During a meeting with Namangan region Hokim Shavkat Abdurazzakov, the entrepreneur expressed interest in exporting locally made bee products to Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.

The festival focuses on sharing expertise between local and international beekeepers, strengthening business ties, and expanding export opportunities in foreign markets.

In addition to honey exhibitions, the festival features a variety of cultural and entertainment events, including a national cuisine competition highlighting Namangan’s potential for gastronomic tourism, a handicrafts fair, sporting performances, a national costume exhibition, displays of traditional arts and crafts, and concerts by popular performers.

Confectionery brands from Namangan region are also participating in the large-scale event, showcasing local confectionery products and brands to a broader audience, including international visitors.
