Navoi International Airport is emerging as a major logistics hub
A roadmap has been developed for implementing the framework agreement on a strategic alliance between Navoi International Airport and Harvest Epoch Strategik Investment Limited.
The document calls for refining the project’s technical and economic foundations, developing commercial terms and tariffs, and preparing the airport’s infrastructure and related services to operate in line with international requirements.
The first test cargo flights are scheduled to begin in December 2026. By then, ground handling services, aircraft refueling systems, warehouse facilities, and customs clearance procedures are expected to be fully operational. Work is also underway to bring fire safety systems into compliance with ICAO Category 9 requirements.
Harvest Epoch Strategik Investment Limited will boost cargo traffic by attracting airlines, e-commerce companies, and logistics operators.
A key objective of the cooperation is to raise annual cargo throughput at Navoi International Airport to 45,000 tons by 2030.
Implementing this project will make better use of the airport’s strategic location and infrastructure, strengthen logistics links between China and Europe, and expand global market access for domestically manufactured products.
