Meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus

Chairman of the Executive Committee of the UzLiDeP Political Council Aktam Khaitov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov.

The consistent development of relations between the two countries, based on strategic cooperation and open, trusting dialogue, was discussed at the meeting.

It was also noted that political parties and the strengthening of inter-parliamentary ties are of great importance in promoting the interests of the people.

The Ambassador stressed that the volume of trade turnover between the two countries has approached $1 billion, and a roadmap is being developed to bring this figure to $2 billion by 2030.

Issues of expanding cooperation between UzLiDeP and the Belaya Rus Party, as well as participation in international conferences and forums, were discussed at the meeting.
