International Festival of Youth 2026 is presented in Tashkent
On September 11-17, 2026, Yekaterinburg will host the International Festival of Youth 2026.
A presentation on the essence and significance of this festival was held at the Tashkent branch of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI.
Executive Director of the branch, Shavkat Abdukamilov, Deputy Director General of the Directorate of the World Youth Festival, Vakhtang Hiklandze, and others addressed the event.
It was noted that not only higher educational institutions, but also festivals of international importance play a significant role in increasing young people’s knowledge and potential.
10,000 delegates from 190 countries will attend the event. The program includes 9 thematic areas focused on networking and team activities for intercultural interaction.
Several cultural events are planned as part of the festival. In particular, participants will be introduced to the historical, natural, and cultural heritage of Yekaterinburg. In addition, a trip to 30 regions of Russia and the Republic of Abkhazia will be organized.
