Vivianne van der Vorst: Working together improves protection for migrants
The International Migration Forum 2026 in Tashkent concluded after two days of discussions on safe, orderly, and legal migration, bringing together international experts, policymakers, and employers from around the world.
During the forum, an interview was conducted with Vivianne van der Vorst, Senior Regional Project Manager at IOM.
During the conversation, key issues related to regional migration cooperation, labor mobility, and the protection of migrant workers were discussed. Special attention was also given to skills development and to the importance of international partnerships in addressing modern migration challenges.
Vivianne van der Vorst emphasized that strengthening cooperation among countries remains essential to creating safer and more sustainable migration pathways.
