International expertise and new approaches to diabetes treatment
The State Health Insurance Fund hosted a meeting with experts from the World Health Organization (WHO).
Specialists discussed ways to improve diabetes treatment, apply advanced international practices to enhance the quality of medical care, and prevent serious complications early. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of widely introducing a unified and effective approach to combating the disease into medical practice.
The measures outlined will help expand the range of medical services available to patients with diabetes, improve their quality of life, and elevate the disease-prevention system to a new level.
