Chess: Javokhir Sindarov defeats Praggnanandhaa of India
Uzbekistan’s experienced chess player Javokhir Sindarov defeated Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa in the third round of the Candidates Tournament taking place in Cyprus.
During the tense match, Sindarov capitalized on his opponent’s mistakes, leading to victory.
In the third round, games between Matthias Bluebaum and Andrey Esipenko, as well as between Hikaru Nakamura and Anish Giri, ended in draws. Fabiano Caruana defeated Chinese grandmaster Wei Yi.
Sindarov and Caruana are leading with 2.5 points.
