Uzbekistan and India expand cooperation in tourism
The Uzbekistan – India Travel & Tourism Business Forum and a B2B meeting of representatives from the tourism sectors of Uzbekistan and Hyderabad took place in Tashkent. The participants discussed expanding mutual tourist flows, developing direct business contacts, and creating new joint products.
The event was held with the support of the Tourism Committee and the participation of Centrum Air as part of a FAM Trip, organized in connection with the launch of direct flights between Tashkent and Hyderabad.
The negotiations were attended by 12 representatives of the Hyderabad tourism industry who visited Uzbekistan as part of the FAM Trip. Indian experts met with Uzbek tour operators and discussed specific areas for further cooperation.

The parties focused on jointly developing and promoting tourist packages, creating new routes, and increasing the length of stay for Indian tourists in Uzbekistan. Business representatives also discussed expanding travel geography and developing proposals based on the interests and preferences of Indian travelers.
Business meetings between representatives create additional opportunities to establish new partnerships, develop joint tourism products, and increase mutual tourist flow.
Expanding direct contacts between tour operators in Uzbekistan and India will help promote the country’s potential in the Hyderabad market and in other regions of India, and will further strengthen practical cooperation between the two countries in this area.
