The flow of tourists from Japan increased 1.7 times

According to the National Statistics Committee, 6,925 Japanese citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism in January-March 2026.

This figure increased by almost 3,000 people, or by 1.7 times, compared with the corresponding period last year.

The number of Japanese citizens who visited Uzbekistan during this period for travel is as follows:

tourism – 6,356 people;

visiting relatives – 270 people;

official purposes – 253 people;

study – 45 people;

treatment – 1 person.
