Essential knowledge imparted to legal professionals of the new era.
An international seminar-training on "Green Economy, Energy, and Investment Law within the Framework of World Trade Organization Law" was held at the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development of Legal Personnel.
The training, organized in partnership with Germany's "Konrad Adenauer" Foundation, covered the fundamental principles of World Trade Organization law, Uzbekistan's WTO accession process, the green economy, renewable energy, carbon taxes, and the legal regulation of foreign investment.
With the participation of foreign experts, special attention was given to the practical application of international trade rules, the harmonization of national legislation with international standards, and the creation of a stable legal environment for investors.
As noted at the event, the main goal is to prepare legal professionals to work in Uzbekistan's new economic and international legal landscape, as well as to enhance their modern knowledge and practical skills.
At the conclusion of the event, participants took part in a Q&A session and case study analysis, and were awarded certificates.
