BBC One broadcasts the Ichan Kala State Museum-Reserve
The new season of the project “Race Across The World”, broadcast on the popular BBC One channel, focused on a trip to Uzbekistan.
The participants in the popular reality travel show, watched by millions in different countries, continued their journey from Nukus to Tashkent. Along the way, they got acquainted with Uzbekistan’s historical cities, national traditions, local culture, and hospitality.
The project’s shooting team also worked at the unique historical complex “Ichan-Kala State Museum-Reserve” in Khiva. Footage from the shoot shows a member of the creative team crying, overwhelmed by the beauty of the fabulous city. His colleagues are trying to support him.
Ichan-Kala is not just a historical monument, an abandoned museum spanning 26 hectares, but a legendary city hardened by centuries of wind and victorious over time.
Such projects are important for promoting Uzbekistan’s rich cultural and historical heritage internationally.
