Young professionals from Uzbekistan are developing their skills in China
The Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized an international training seminar on “Sustainable development of the mining industry in Uzbekistan” in China.
The participants learned about modern solutions, sustainable production principles, and approaches used in China’s mining industry to develop the sector.
Nurmatjon Ismailov, Leading Specialist in the Capital Markets and Investor Relations Department, attended the seminar on behalf of Uzmetkombinat JSC.
“In China, there’s a well-established and comprehensive approach to developing the mining industry and geology. During the seminar, we explored how modern technologies are integrated into production, how resources are utilized efficiently, how labor productivity is improved, and how investment is attracted. This provided us with new insights and ideas for sector development. An additional key benefit of the event was the chance to meet and exchange views with specialists from various countries. This not only helped us gather new information but also allowed us to understand colleagues’ approaches from other nations and to view our work from a different angle. We are committed to applying this knowledge effectively in practice”, says Mr. Ismailov.
The significance of such international programs is not limited to studying foreign experience. Adapting advanced approaches to local conditions and putting them into practice provides valuable opportunities for sector development. Specialists with international experience who can apply modern knowledge and skills in practice play an important role in this process.
