On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Yeraly Tugzhanov extended his congratulations.
– The 35th anniversary of independence marks not only important historical events but also the path traversed by an entire generation – years of profound transformation, development, and confident progress. State independence is inseparable from concepts such as the Motherland, patriotism, and respect for national heritage.
Uzbekistan has made significant progress since independence and continues to advance confidently. The large-scale reforms under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev are producing clear results. The country’s appearance is gradually changing, with new businesses emerging and increasing openness to the world, all while maintaining the rich historical and cultural legacies of ancient cities like Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva.
For Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan is more than a neighbor or a strategic partner. We share a common history, culture, brotherhood, language, traditions, spiritual ties, and destinies of millions. For centuries, Kazakh and Uzbek peoples have coexisted, experiencing both joy and hardship together.
Today, thanks to the strong trust and friendly relations between our two countries’ leaders, the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan has entered a new and higher phase. I am optimistic about the many shared achievements still to come. As our diverse and growing ties continue to strengthen, they will support the ongoing prosperity of our peoples.
On this special day, I extend my wishes to the beloved people of Uzbekistan for peace, prosperity, and remarkable success! May your independence remain everlasting, may peace persist throughout your nation, and may the friendship between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan deepen further. Happy Independence Day!
