Uzbekistan presents its nuclear energy strategy in London
The Uzatom Agency delegation presented Uzbekistan’s approach to developing nuclear energy at the 51st World Nuclear Symposium of the World Nuclear Association in London.
The New Ways in Nuclear Energy session focused on the integrated AES project, which combines high-power VVER-1000 units with low-power Ritm-200h reactors.
The event also included meetings with Orano, WNA, the World Nuclear University, AtkinsRéalis and Rwanda representatives to discuss the nuclear fuel cycle, international cooperation, educational programs and modern reactor technologies.
Therefore, Uzbekistan is actively working to broaden international collaboration and share expertise in nuclear energy.
