Uzbekistan expands cooperation in standardization

Uzbekistan delegation participated in the 20th plenary meeting of the ISO Technical Committee ISO/TC 100 in China.

Delegations from France, Germany and the United Kingdom also attended the meeting.

During the plenary session, reports were presented on current trends in international standardization, advances in chain drive technology, and prospects for the industry.

Participants exchanged views on improving international standards, developing chain drive technologies, adopting best practices, and expanding international cooperation.

The Uzbekistan delegation took part in the meeting to strengthen the country’s role in international standardization, learn from global best practices in mechanical engineering, and advance cooperation on technical regulation and standardization.

Such meetings help strengthen the national standardization system, introduce modern technologies, and raise product quality standards.
