Uzbekistan and India: Humanitarian Cooperation to Be Further Expanded
Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, met with Asmita Satyarthi, Director General of the Satyarthi Movement for Global Compassion, on the sidelines of the 12th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
The meeting focused on the further expansion of humanitarian cooperation between Uzbekistan and India.
The discussion centered on opportunities to exchange experiences in protecting children's rights, supporting children in need of social protection, and organizing joint seminars, expert meetings, and parliamentary discussions.
Views were also exchanged on further enhancing the role of women in society, supporting young female leaders, and developing social leadership.
