Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan’s law enforcement agencies are strengthening their collaboration
Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan’s law enforcement agencies are strengthening cooperation to combat crime, terrorism, cyber threats, and other security threats.
The Trend News Agency reported this following a meeting between Aziz Tashpulatov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Rashad Mammadov, the newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the parties noted the continued strengthening of friendly relations, mutual trust, and strategic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting covered the current status and future possibilities for collaboration between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of both countries. Emphasis was placed on sharing expertise in areas such as counterterrorism, extremism, transnational organized crime, drug trafficking, and digital crimes.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing practical cooperation to promote public safety and uphold the rule of law, while also identifying key areas for future joint efforts.
