Tourism collaboration advances to a higher stage
The second Summit of the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts took place at Amirsoy Resort in Bostanlyk district, Tashkent region.
Official delegations from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Türkiye, along with leaders of major ski resorts and tourism sector representatives, attended the event.

The participants discussed strengthening strategic partnership among the Turkic states, developing tourist routes, promoting advanced management practices in the sector, and introducing environmentally sustainable technologies. They also exchanged views on promoting the mountain resorts of the Turkic states in the international tourism market under a unified brand.
A meeting of the Union’s General Assembly and panel sessions were held. Reports were delivered by Rustam Najafov, Chairman of the Union of Turkic Ski Resorts, Rustamjon Raimjonov, Director General of Amirsoy Resort, and the heads of Kazakhstan’s Shymbulak and Oi-Qaragai mountain resorts, Azerbaijan’s Shahdag, and Türkiye’s Uludag and Erciyes resorts.

The organization’s official web portal was introduced at the event. The digital platform aims to create a unified information space and promote the region’s tourism potential internationally.
Following the summit, agreements were reached on expanding practical cooperation in tourism.
