The current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE highly appreciated
First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Sodiq Safoyev, met with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Feridun Sinirlioğlu.
The parties highly appreciated the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE.
Special attention was paid to the large-scale reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan, the strengthening of state institutions, the consistent development of a good-neighbor policy, and efforts to create a stable, trust-based atmosphere in Central Asia.

The OSCE supports democratic transformations and an open regional policy pursued in Uzbekistan.
The activities of the Oliy Majlis parliamentary group on cooperation with the OSCE were noted. This format is recognized as a key tool for maintaining a stable inter-parliamentary dialogue and for strengthening practical cooperation with the organization.
The parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation through parliamentary structures, expert platforms, and joint events.
