A platform for sharing international experience in information security
An international conference titled “Artificial Intelligence and Information Security: ISO Standards in the Era of Digitalization”, organized by the Uzbek Agency for Technical Regulation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the French company Bureau Veritas, was held in Tashkent.
The conference was attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, banking and financial institutions, major industrial enterprises, international experts, and the media. During the event, issues related to ensuring information security, managing cyber risks, and introducing artificial intelligence technologies were discussed.
Special attention at the conference was given to the work underway in Uzbekistan in the areas of digitalization, information security, and artificial intelligence governance. Representatives of the Technical Regulation Agency discussed measures to develop a certification system based on international ISO standards, strengthen information security, and effectively use the capabilities of artificial intelligence across various sectors.
In addition, the Agency shared practical experience with introducing the national information system “Technical Regulation”.
ADM Jizzakh, Samarqand Avtomobil Zavodi, East Can Solutions, and Impex Insurance were awarded certificates of compliance with the international standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and FSSC.
A Memorandum of Cooperation was also signed between Bureau Veritas Tashkent and the Tajik company Talco Takob.
