Table Tennis: Asian Championship Logo Unveiled
The 29th ITTF-ATTU Asian Table Tennis Championships will take place in our capital, Tashkent, from October 19 to 25 of this year.
The other day, the Asian Table Tennis Federation announced the symbol of this prestigious competition.
The snow leopard, named Toshi, was presented as the official mascot for the "Asian Table Tennis Championship — Tashkent 2026." It was created in the image of the snow leopard, one of Uzbekistan's rare and protected animals.
The snow leopard is also known in scientific literature as the irbis. It is a rare creature that inhabits the towering mountains of Central Asia, including the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan.
The snow leopard is distinguished by its strength, agility, courage, and endurance. Adapted to moving through rocky and high mountains, this member of the feline family plays a crucial role in maintaining nature's balance.
This symbol aims to harmonize Uzbekistan's natural wealth, national values, and sporting spirit.
