Marjona Pardaboyeva becomes a two-time world champion.
Our compatriots, Marjona Pardaboyeva and Pokiza Ahmadbekova, are successfully competing in the para-cycling road world championships being held in Huntsville, USA.
According to the competition program, in the women's T1 class group race over a distance of 27.6 kilometers, Marjona Pardaboyeva outpaced all her rivals to win the gold medal. Thus, our compatriot secured her second world championship title. In this event, Chuan Shitsi of China took the silver medal, and Pavlina Vejvodová of the Czech Republic claimed the bronze.
Additionally, in the H1 category group race held over a 13.8-kilometer distance, Pokiza Ahmadbekova finished second, earning a spot on the second step of the podium.

It is worth noting that both of our athletes had also triumphed in the time trial on the previous day of the championship.
The World Championship concludes today. Bunyod Haytmuhammadov will represent Uzbekistan on the final day of the competition.
