Senate presents commemorative badge for 35th independence anniversary
On the anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence, a group of compatriots who have significantly contributed to strengthening the nation’s independence, boosting its economic capacity, and elevating its international reputation were honored. These individuals, recognized for many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, and active engagement in public life, received the commemorative badge “35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, which was established by a presidential decree.
Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, ceremonially presented the commemorative badges on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The recipients included senators, the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission, employees of the Senate Administration, the Public Fund for Support of Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Development Strategy Center, and members of the Youth Parliament.

Speakers at the event appreciated the confidence the state showed in them and pledged to serve diligently for the country’s progress and the people’s welfare.
