Prime Minister of India to pay a state visit to Uzbekistan
At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 29-30.
The agenda for the upcoming talks focuses on deepening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and India and broadening various areas of cooperation.
Particular attention will be given to expanding systematic political dialogue and cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and to promoting specific cooperation programs and projects in trade, energy, the chemical industry, geology, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, mechanical engineering, and other economic sectors.
The leaders will exchange views on current international affairs, the regional agenda, and cooperation within multilateral formats.
Following the meeting, the signing of a substantial package of bilateral agreements is scheduled.
