President Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Qatar

On July 14, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Doha to express condolences following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar.

At Hamad International Airport, the President of Uzbekistan was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and other officials.

As part of the visit, a bilateral meeting with the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, is scheduled.
