New projects worth $10 million to be implemented at Sokin Savdo Servis cluster
During his visit to Andijan region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the activities of the Sokin Savdo Servis poultry cluster in Baliqchi district.
Poultry meat holds a significant role in the local diet because of its nutritional benefits and cost-effectiveness. As a result, Uzbekistan focuses on developing large poultry complexes, promoting local production, and maintaining steady supplies of high-quality products to the market.
The Sokin Savdo Servis cluster was established in 2010. Today, it comprises five poultry farms in Andijan region and three in Namangan region. Poultry feed is produced at the company’s facility in Tashkent region.
The cluster has established a complete production cycle that encompasses feed production, poultry raising, slaughtering, meat processing and packaging, and delivery to consumers. The meat processing complex is fully automated and meets high hygiene standards.
The project’s total cost is $29 million. The cluster employs 417 people.
The complex currently raises 1.5 million broiler chickens. Its production capacity allows it to raise 8.2 million broilers and produce 20,600 tons of poultry meat annually.
The complex can process 55,000 tons of chicken meat and semi-finished products annually. The products are manufactured in accordance with Halal, HACCP, and ISO standards.
Since the beginning of this year, the cluster has also launched a breeding program. It currently maintains 25,000 breeding laying hens and plans to produce 7.6 million broiler chicks annually from 9 million eggs.
By the end of 2027, a rendering line for processing poultry waste will be launched, and a multi-tier cage housing system for poultry will be introduced. A total of $10 million will be allocated to implement these two projects.
In addition, it is proposed to bring idle poultry farms and those experiencing financial difficulties into a unified cooperative system with the cluster. This initiative will help restore 350-400 jobs and raise an additional 1.7 million birds.
The Head of State was briefed on the cluster’s production processes, finished products, and promising new projects.
