Modern ecotourism complex established in the hilly areas of Asaka
The hilly areas of Asaka district in Andijan region are distinguished by their clean air and unique natural landscape.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited an ecotourism complex covering 192 hectares in Yangi Hayot neighborhood.
The project was implemented at the direction of the Head of State and at the initiative of the Agency for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex. By combining nature with modern amenities, the site has quickly become popular with local residents and tourists.
The complex is located on a high hill, offering a picturesque panoramic view of the district.
Four modern capsule-style holiday homes and five national-style yurts have been installed here. Ornamental and coniferous trees have been planted across 30 hectares. A family restaurant and various attractions are also available, and a modern nighttime lighting system has been installed.
Particular attention at the complex is given to preserving the natural environment and using resources efficiently. A membrane-lined reservoir with a capacity of 14,000 cubic meters has been built on the site. Trees and plants are irrigated entirely by a drip irrigation system.
The total cost of the project is 51.8 billion UZS. Its implementation has created 275 permanent and 200 seasonal jobs for local residents. In addition, grapes grown in the vineyard are planned for export.
According to projections, once the complex is fully operational, it will provide services valued at 80 billion UZS annually and generate 3 billion UZS in revenue for the local budget.
The Vineyard complex, which is expected to become fully operational by the end of this year, is set to become one of the attractive tourist destinations in Andijan region.
The Head of State had a warm conversation with regional activists and labor veterans. They discussed the large-scale transformations underway in Andijan, the creation of new opportunities to improve people’s well-being, enhance mahallas, and unlock young people’s potential.
The event also included a cultural program and a drone show.
