National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami joins the 8Foundry Alliance
National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami has become one of the first higher education institutions in Central Asia to join the international innovation cluster 8Foundry Alliance. This event marks an important step toward the international integration of the country’s higher education system.
The university hosted a meeting with representatives of the leadership of the Polish international cluster 8Foundry Alliance – Chairman Rafał Magryś and International Cooperation Specialist Piotr Mierzwiński.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education and the Rector of the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami Hilola Umarova.

During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing issues related to implementing joint projects in education and science, participating in international grants, commercializing innovative developments, expanding academic exchange programs, and developing technology transfer.
This cooperation opens new opportunities for the university. In particular, faculty members and researchers will be able to undertake joint scientific projects with European universities and research centers, while students will have the opportunity to participate in international projects and present their startup ideas to foreign experts and investors.

In addition, representatives of the cluster will become familiar with the university’s activities, the quality of its education, and its scientific potential. In the future, visits by faculty members and students to Poland are planned to exchange experience and for advanced training.
“We highly appreciate the international development strategy and innovative approach of the National Pedagogical University of Uzbekistan named after Nizami”, says Rafał Magryś. “The university’s accession to our cluster is crucial to strengthening cooperation with Central Asia. We plan to implement several joint initiatives and are confident this partnership will yield mutually beneficial results”.
