National clothes showcased in Kokand
Kokand is not only a city with a rich historical heritage, but also a major center of handicrafts, known far beyond its borders.
The International Festival of Handicrafts 2025 brought together artisans from more than 70 countries. Famous modelers and designers were among them. Everyone was fascinated by the Uzbek national clothes. Products made of natural cotton and silk, decorated with bright patterns, were highly appreciated and presented in museums and exhibitions around the world.

Collections of national clothing in modern designs were once again showcased on Urda Square. The collections of Madinakhon Tursunkhujayeva, the founder of the Kokand Fashion Center, as well as talented designers, graduates of this center, who successfully work independently, were showcased at the event. The original hairstyle design style using flowers was demonstrated under the brand Quqon Gullari.



Kholida Kamilova, Vice Rector of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, Chairperson of the Osiyo Ramzi Association of Designers of Uzbekistan, and Marufjon Usmanov, Hokim of Kokand, awarded designers who achieved high results, as well as specialists who made a great contribution to the organization of the event at a high level.
