Musical event in memory of Heydar Aliyev
A concert program devoted to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, took place in Tashkent.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijan Cultural Center named after Heydar Aliyev under the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Uzbekistan.
It was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan, Huseyn Guliyev, the Ambassadors of Russia and Tajikistan, Alexey Yerkhov and Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda, representatives of state and public circles, cultural and artistic figures, students, media representatives, as well as members of the Azerbaijani diaspora.

During the official part of the event, Ambassador Huseyn Guliyev highlighted the outstanding role of Heydar Aliyev in the formation and strengthening of modern Azerbaijan. It was emphasized that the Great Leader’s far-sighted policy has laid a solid foundation for preserving the country's independence, ensuring political stability, and strengthening state traditions.

It was also emphasized that the development strategy defined by Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev today, thereby strengthening Azerbaijan’s international positions.
After the official part, a concert was held featuring People’s Artist of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Farrukh Zakirov, Azerbaijani singer and composer Ismayil Zeynalov, and pianist Mushfig Guliyev.

The artists performed Azerbaijani classical works and national compositions, demonstrating the richness of Azerbaijan's musical heritage and its modern sound.
