Motorsport athletes from 8 countries competed in Tashkent
The "Uzbekistan Asia Auto Gymkhana Championship 2026" competition took place in our capital, featuring 32 skilled auto racers from 8 countries.
One of the unique aspects of the championship was that equal technical conditions were created for all participants. Specifically, with the support of "UzAuto," the athletes were provided with "Chevrolet Onix" cars, and it was in these very vehicles that they competed for the best results.

This was a competition between motorsports athletes of varying levels using identical equipment, where skill, precision, quick reactions, a feel for the car, and the ability to cover the designated distance at the limit of one's capabilities were paramount.
In the hard-fought competition, four representatives of Uzbekistan advanced to the first stage of the qualifying races, while in the women's event, Alena Vershinina of Kyrgyzstan recorded the championship's best result with a time of 59.869 seconds.

Among the female racers from Uzbekistan, Sabina Yusupova with a time of 1 minute 04.180 seconds, Saminakhon Akhmadjonova with 1 minute 03.000 seconds, Malikakhon Zaynutdinova with 1 minute 17.116 seconds, and Oksana Glova with 1 minute 24.823 seconds, succeeded in further honing their motorsports skills.
