Kuwait appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov has received the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad.
“Received the copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan, H.E. Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad. The prospects for further expanding the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait were at the center of our agenda”, Mr. Saidov noted.
It was noted that the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kuwait in February 2025 elevated bilateral relations to a new level.
The parties discussed strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council and other international and regional organizations.
