Foundation laid for Azerbaijan Park in New Tashkent
The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev launched construction of Azerbaijan Park in New Tashkent.
A four-hectare site has been allocated for the park. A modern public space reflecting Azerbaijan’s rich culture, centuries of history, and national traditions will be created there. The park will showcase the cultural affinity and friendship between the two brotherly peoples.

It is important to highlight that this noble initiative is mutual. During President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Azerbaijan, a symbolic capsule was laid at the foundation of the upcoming Uzbekistan Park in Baku White City.

A 4.5-hectare complex will showcase Uzbekistan’s rich culture and traditions, as well as its national architectural heritage, in a unique format. It will feature architectural representations of the country’s historical monuments, along with green areas and walking zones.

Therefore, Azerbaijan Park in Tashkent and Uzbekistan Park in Baku will serve as another vibrant symbol of the long-standing friendship, mutual respect, and spiritual connection between the two nations.

The Heads of State laid symbolic capsules at the site of the future park, marking the project’s launch.
