Foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan meet in Khiva

A delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, visited Khorezm region.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The first meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held.

Following the official events, members of the delegation visited the historical monuments of the Ichan Kala complex in ancient Khiva and the Nurillaboy Palace.

The history of Khiva and its contributions to the development of science and the region’s rich culture and art left a deep impression on the Kazakh guests.
