Fergana entrepreneurs establish cooperation with Afghanistan
A delegation of 150 executives and entrepreneurs from Fergana region has arrived in Afghanistan. The visit aims to establish direct cooperation with the country’s regions and business circles, discuss new joint projects, and sign agreements in the fields of trade and production.
A formal opening ceremony for the Fergana Trading House was held in Kabul, attended by Khayrullo Bozorov, the Hokim of Fergana region, along with Afghan officials and entrepreneurs from both nations.


The Trading House presented a wide range of products from Fergana manufacturers. Dozens of Afghan companies signed contracts to supply products from Uzbekistan.
Then the delegation was received by the Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund. The parties discussed prospects for further development of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.


The Uzbekistan – Afghanistan Business Forum, attended by more than 400 leading entrepreneurs and investors from both countries, became the highlight of the visit.
During his stay in Afghanistan, Mr. Bozorov will also meet with government officials and leaders of major companies.
