Textile production reaches 43.4 trillion UZS in January-May

According to the National Statistics Committee, large enterprises in Uzbekistan produced textile products worth 43.4 trillion UZS in January-May 2026.

This represents an increase of 15.4% compared with the corresponding period of 2025.

The volume of textile production by region was as follows:

Fergana region – 5.4 trillion UZS;

Andijan region – 4.3 trillion UZS;

Kashkadarya region – 4.2 trillion UZS;

Khorezm region – 3.9 trillion UZS;

Bukhara region – 3.7 trillion UZS;

Namangan region – 3.6 trillion UZS;

Samarkand region – 3.4 trillion UZS;

Surkhandarya region – 2.9 trillion UZS;

Tashkent city – 2.8 trillion UZS;

Tashkent region – 2.6 trillion UZS;

Republic of Karakalpakstan – 2.2 trillion UZS;

Jizzakh region – 2.2 trillion UZS;

Syrdarya region – 1.2 trillion UZS;

Navoi region – 1 trillion UZS.
