Entrepreneurs from both countries enhance collaboration

A delegation from Osh, comprising more than 30 business representatives and active entrepreneurs led by Zafarbek Akhmedov, Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Osh, visited Namangan region to strengthen trade, economic, investment, and business ties between the two regions.

The first venue for negotiations was the Namangan Regional Department of Investment, Industry and Foreign Trade. During a meeting with the region’s Deputy Hokim, Okibjon Inomov, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, particularly expanding trade turnover, implementing joint investment projects, developing industrial cooperation, and strengthening interaction among entrepreneurs.

At the Art Soft Tex, Fazman Textile, Gidro Plast, Megaton, Mumtoz, and Art Ceramics enterprises, the guests were introduced to production capacity, export potential, and promising investment opportunities.

The guests also visited the zoo at the Favvora family recreation complex in Turakurgan district and noted the high standard of infrastructure, comfortable conditions for visitors, and the facility’s strong tourism potential.

The visit concluded with G2B and B2B meetings, during which the parties considered expanding trade and economic cooperation between the regions, implementing joint investment projects, increasing export and import volumes, and developing partnerships across industry, agriculture, construction materials production, handicrafts, and tourism.
