Digital agriculture: experience, innovation, and cooperation
An international conference titled “Prospects for the digitalization of the agricultural sector” was held in Tashkent to mark the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Agro-Industry Digitization Center LLC under the Ministry of Agriculture.
The participants discussed achievements and objectives, with particular attention to the introduction of digital technologies in agriculture and the effective use of artificial intelligence, geographic information systems, space monitoring, drones, and electronic platforms.
The conference provided information on the Center’s activities. It was noted that the information systems and electronic services introduced contribute to transparency in the sector, accelerate data exchange, and improve management efficiency.
At the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the sectoral digitalization centers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The document provides for the exchange of experience in digital technologies and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
Presentations of innovative projects and modern digital products were held, and employees and partner organizations that made meaningful contributions to the sector’s development were awarded.
