A well-known hotel chain is planning to expand into the Uzbek market
Chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Akkulov met with Amna Al Nuwais, Chief Strategy and Assets Officer at Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC.
The parties discussed the extensive reforms underway in Uzbekistan’s tourism industry, the rapid growth of hotel infrastructure, and the advantageous environment established for foreign investors.
Company representatives learned about the increasing demand for hotel services in the country, new tourist routes, and the future prospects for pilgrimage tourism development.

Information was also provided regarding the Imam al-Bukhari Memorial Complex in Samarkand region and the development of modern tourism infrastructure around it.
During the meeting, Amna Al Nuwais praised Uzbekistan’s achievements in developing the tourism industry and said the company is considering entering the country’s market. In particular, to meet the needs of various guest categories, it was noted that opening five-star hotels in Uzbekistan under the Rotana Hotels & Resorts brand, four-star hotels under the Edge by Rotana brand, and modern, comfortable three-star hotels under the Centro Hotels by Rotana brand is considered promising.
