A cultural bridge that brings people closer together
As part of the 11th Tashkent International Biennale of Contemporary Art, an exhibition of works by Turkmen artists was held at the Republican Specialized Art School named after Pavel Benkov, which operates under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
The works on display gave visitors a chance to better understand the distinctive qualities of Turkmen fine art, the artists’ worldviews, their use of color harmonies, and their approaches to artistic expression.
The exhibited works reveal the artists’ attitudes toward reality, their perceptions of the world, and their ways of thinking about art. Each artist brings a distinctive style, a unique use of color, and an individual artistic vision. Together, these differences show the boundless possibilities of fine art and invite viewers to appreciate each work from a fresh perspective.
The exhibition of works by Turkmen artists is a significant initiative that strengthens cultural ties between the two brotherly nations, introduces contemporary fine art to a wider audience, and encourages the younger generation’s interest in art.
