Uzbekistan’s textile products enter the European market

An investment project aimed at the production of home textile products for the European market is being implemented in Andijan region’s Ulugnor district.

The initiative is essential for increasing the export potential of the country’s textile industry, creating production facilities, and providing employment to the population.

The Uztuqimachiliksanoat Association is implementing the project in cooperation with Korstan Fiber LLC and Türkiye’s Prestige Group.

According to the Association’s Information Service, specialized equipment for sewing blankets has already been installed, and more than 50 sewing machines are expected to be delivered. It is planned to employ 100 people. Samples of pillows, bedding sets, blankets, and other products are being prepared. Special attention is paid to the quality and design of products that are developed in accordance with international standards to ensure their competitiveness in foreign markets.
