Uzbekistan showcases its industrial potential at INNOPROM. Belarus 2026
The second international exhibition, INNOPROM. Belarus 2026, is underway in Minsk, showcasing the industrial capabilities of partner countries, including Uzbekistan.
The exhibition runs from September 30 to October 2 at the BelExpo Minsk International Exhibition Center. The Eurasian Economic Commission and six countries – Azerbaijan, Iran, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan – have set up separate national stands.
During the main plenary session, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov spoke about the development of the country’s electrical engineering and electronics sectors.
According to him, the sector is one of the most dynamic areas of Uzbekistan’s economy. In recent years, the output of electrical products has increased more than ninefold. The country has launched production of hundreds of new product types, ranging from modern household appliances to high-voltage cables and electric-vehicle charging stations.
At the same time, production of electronic components is expanding. The manufacture of silicon photovoltaic cells has been established, and projects are underway to produce copper conductors for microelectronics and components for next-generation power electronics.
Positive momentum is also evident in exports. Exports of electrical products have exceeded $1 billion, with shipments reaching 65 countries worldwide.
As the head of government noted, Uzbekistan has set ambitious long-term targets for the sector. By 2030, the country plans to increase output in the electrical engineering and electronics industries to $11 billion and exports to $5 billion. In addition, more than $3 billion in investment is expected to be attracted to the sector’s development.
