Uzatom Agency’s delegation takes part in the International Energy Forum
Kazan hosted the International Energy Forum.
A delegation from the Uzatom Agency took part in the event.
The forum included a plenary session on “GOELRO 2.0: The Rebirth of a Legend” and the 68th Meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council.
On the sidelines of the forum, priority areas for developing the electric power industry were discussed in detail. Special attention was paid to infrastructure modernization, ensuring technological independence, expanding industrial cooperation, accelerating digitalization processes, and training highly qualified personnel.

At the meeting of the CIS Electric Power Council, the participants reviewed the current state of the energy systems of the Commonwealth states, as well as issues related to strengthening regional coordination, improving the reliability of energy supply, integrating new generating capacity, and expanding practical cooperation.
During the event, it was emphasized that ongoing activities in Uzbekistan are aimed at upgrading the energy infrastructure, launching new capacities, introducing digital technologies into the industry, and developing regional cooperation.
