The President reviewed the project of a musical fountain in New Tashkent
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed the plan for a fountain complex to be constructed in New Tashkent.
In Uzbekistan, great emphasis is placed on developing modern public spaces and entertainment and cultural leisure venues for people. These projects help improve the appearance of cities, create a comfortable environment for relaxation, and attract more local and international visitors.
In New Tashkent, a musical fountain complex is planned for approximately 8 hectares.

According to the project, a fountain will be built in a basin covering a total water surface area of 6.3 hectares, allowing water, music, and light shows over 1.5 hectares. The complex will feature a super fountain capable of reaching up to 232 meters in height, along with a floating platform measuring 100 meters in diameter.
The fountain can create a circular water screen with a 185-meter radius and project various images onto it in a 360-degree format.
The use of powerful laser beams, dynamic water displays, and various visual effects is also planned. Pumping systems, electrical equipment, laser projectors, and other technical devices will be installed in a two-level underground structure.

Plans include creating green spaces and amenities around the reservoir. This development is expected to become one of New Tashkent’s most recognizable landmarks, improve the city’s architectural appeal, and provide a new modern venue for cultural events, celebrations, and festivals.
The Head of State paid particular attention to the project’s substantive aspects, technical solutions, and issues related to the area’s comprehensive landscaping. He emphasized the importance of well-organized modern retail, dining, and service offerings for visitors. At the same time, he noted the need to host spectacular events at this venue this year, dedicated to Independence Day.
